Michelle Robinson Obama was the First Lady of the United States of America from 2009 to 2017. She studied at Princeton University and Harvard Law School and began her career as a lawyer at the Sidley & Austin law firm in Chicago, where she met her future husband, Barack Obama. Later, she worked in the office of the mayor of Chicago, the University of Chicago, and the University of Chicago Medical Center. Michelle Obama also founded the Chicago section of Public Allies, an organization that prepares young people for careers in public service. The Obama’s are currently living in Washington, DC They have two daughters, Malia and Sasha.
